Suntuário Dress

Original Lu Classic dress – designed by Lu Weixing, director of the maison founded in Chaozhou, the birthplace of Southeast China’s embroidered haute couture.

Made from 100% pure silk, the piece is overlaid with ultra-fine tulle featuring applied floral embroidery and raised beading, blending traditional Cantonese embroidery techniques with a rococo aesthetic reimagined for the 21st century.

Rare in Brazil and widely recognized on the international eveningwear scene between 1998 and 2005, this piece stands as a testament to intercultural, quietly lavish fashion—a textile reliquary of veiled opulence, bearing a high degree of handwork, both originally in its construction and from our own archive’s restoration.

• Condition: Excellent after restoration work involving several hands to restore the piece's integrity
