Hill House Dress

Long black velvet dress from the late 1980s, impeccably constructed, stretches yet retains its structure and body—a hallmark of pieces from that era even when they stretch. The contrast between the velvet body and sheer tulle sleeves creates a sophisticated interplay of density and transparency, balancing weight and lightness.

On the front, intricate fabric appliqués form structured spirals and arabesques, adorned with small crystals that subtly catch the light, creating an almost architectural design over the bust. 

The skirt is cut straight with a firm drape, elongating and sculpting the figure. At the back, it fastens with a nylon zipper, and the tulle’s transparency continues to evoke mystery—the bold, elegant spirit of the late 1980s. A piece with magnetic presence, balancing sensuality and solemnity in equal measure.
